Marvin Harris

Hi, I'm Marvin.

In 2022, I went through a divorce. In the middle of it, I used AI to help me navigate a legal situation I couldn't afford to get wrong. My son's future was on the line. That was the moment I stopped treating AI like a tool and started treating it like a hire.

Before that, I'd spent over a decade in the jobs you take when you're building toward something you can't see yet: accountant, regulatory analyst, financial systems administrator, business intelligence consultant for Fortune 500 companies, senior manager running ERP implementations, independent consultant in government contracting, covering staffing, data center builds, case management, and IT services. Then I founded a venture-backed SaaS startup.

None of it was wasted. Every one of those rooms taught me something about how large organizations actually get work done, and how much of that work doesn't need a human doing it.

So when AI helped me protect what mattered most, I didn't see a chatbot. I saw capacity. I went all in.

Since then, I've built 200+ Digital Employees, created THINK (the proprietary intelligence system and methodology that powers every one of them), and trained thousands of people to hire, onboard, and manage AI employees of their own.

Today, I run Compound Leverage. I place Digital Employee candidates with government contractors, economic development organizations, HBCUs, and chambers of commerce. I do business development with partners, run training and workforce programs, manage interns, and write about what's actually working, and what's not, every Sunday morning in the newsletter.

I also run THINK School, a community on Skool where I teach members how to onboard their first Digital Employee and master hiring and managing them.
